Sony launched the Alpha 1 mirrorless camera in January. However, they didn’t release its prices for India. Recently, Sony officially launched the Alpha 1 mirrorless camera tagging along with the much-awaited price reveal. The Sony mirrorless camera is set to have a whopping price of Rs. 5,59,990.
Sony Alpha 1 Mirrorless Camera Specifications
The latest mirrorless camera offers a 50.1-MP 35-mm full-frame (35.9 x 24.0 mm) Exmor RS CMOS sensor. It gets powered by an improved BIONZ XR image processing engine. The sensor allows the users to shoot 165 full-frame JPEG images and 155 full-frame compressed RAW images up to 30 frames per second. The ISO range is also a bumper as it goes from 100-32000 for stills and movies to 50–102400 for stills.
The 5-axis optical in-body image stabilization excellently maintains the output quality of the camera. On top, you get features to level up your creativity with Sony’s subject recognition technology. With Sony Alpha 1 mirrorless camera, the revolution of camera’s has already begun. This camera marks out all the others because the Alpha series comes with 8K support. You can easily record 8K videos at 30fps. Alpha 1 equips an HD OLED display and 240fps with UXGA FOV in its 9.44 million-dot electronic viewfinder. With that, you can also find 0.90x viewfinder magnification, a 25-mm high eyepoint, and a 41-degree diagonal FOV. Another aspect of this Sony Alpha 1 mirrorless camera is that it produces silent and vibration-free shutter sound.

Talking about the connectivity, users get a USB-C connector that supports 10Gbps USB 3.2 data transfer. Alpha 1 also includes a built-in dual-band Wi-Fi which is supported by 2×2 MIMO (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac).
Sony Alpha 1 Mirrorless Camera Price and Availability
The latest mirrorless camera will be available for purchase from 12th March 2021 for Rs. 5,59,990. The camera will be sold across Alpha flagship stores, Sony centres and other major electronic stores.
