We got the first impression on Back 4 Blood, Turtle Rock Studio’s latest zombie game after Left 4 Dead, at the Game Award. Now, users can sign up and experience the game on the PC alpha test until December 21, 2020. Users can visit Back 4 Blood’s official website for registration instructions. Although the registration does not guarantee access and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
In case, if you miss the closed PC alpha test, you will have other opportunities to play Back 4 Blood before launch. The Turtle Rock Studios have announced in their Back 4 Blood FAQ, “Stay tuned for more opportunities to play the game in the future”.
Back 4 Blood is a four-player collaboration game set in the zombie apocalypse. You play as a Cleaners, a group of people, fighting against zombie-like creatures called Ridden. The game also includes a multiplayer competitive feature, and participants can play online PvP that supports up to 8 players. Teams can take turns playing as cleaners and ridden.
GameSpot editor Phil Hornshaw and video producer Jean-Luc Seipke assessed the level of campaigning in the closed alpha test of Back 4 Blood. They noted the similarities between Back 4 Blood and Left 4 Dead and the changes introduced by Turtle Rock, as a progressive program that empowers the entire team and adds more retribution to campaigns.
Back 4 Blood will be launched on June 22, 2021, for the Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
