Outriders is a mostly solo game that is still alive. Even when you’re home, you usually can’t pause it. However, a resourceful PC player found a way to pause the game using their Nvidia GPU.
Outriders, like Dark Souls and The Division, may not allow you to pause the game when playing alone. Finding a safe corner in a quiet section of the map and hiding your character is the only way to avoid playing and get a beer. Or you should wait for the servers to go down. However, if you have an Nvidia GPU, you can pause the game when playing alone. Aced-Bread, a Reddit user, shared this process.
Outriders support Nvidia’s Ansel features, which allow you to pause the action and move the camera around to capture some fun screenshots. So, if you need to pause a game on PC and have the appropriate GPU, simply press Alt+F2 and the game will be paused.
This really happens when you’re playing by yourself. Ansel can also work if there are other players in your game, but the action will not end.
