Nokia used to manufacture PC’s, laptops and mini-computers back in the ’90s but stopped it’s manufacturing after its business completely collapsed. But now it looks like, it is back with a bang with the launch of Nokia’s laptop series as per the speculations, as it receives certification from the (BIS) Bureau Of Indian Standards. Also Last, in 2009, Nokia released a Nokia 3G booklet (notebook) but it didn’t go well.
As per the certification by BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standards), the laptops will be manufactured in Tongfang Limited in China. The certification also mentions that at most nine different models of Nokia laptops with model numbers NKi510UL82S, NKi510UL85S, NKi510UL165S, NKi510UL810S, NKi510UL1610S, NKi310UL41S, NKi310UL42S, NKi310UL82S, and NKi310UL85S will be released.
This suggests us that it will release laptops with i5 and i3 generation as per the model numbers released. And it will work on WINDOWS 10.
Right now the market is already filled with the brands like HP, ASUS, Acer and more. So if it launches with the pocket-friendly price it may give a tough competition to its competitors. Speculations about the price say it may launch at around Rs40,000.
We have to see whether the new Nokia Laptops will be sold by Flipkart or not. Because Flipkart has the brand licensee of Nokia for all its products ranging from smart televisions and streaming devices to its mobile phones. If this is true, Nokia laptops will be exclusively available only in India and they will start teasing about its launch soon.
