Honor, the company that was recently spun off from Huawei as an independent brand, has scheduled a launch event in China for tomorrow, May 7th. The company will unveil a new laptop lineup called MagicBook X at the event.
The event is set to begin at 2:30 PM Beijing time. According to the image of the upcoming laptop shown in the teaser photo, the device will be thinner and more compact than previous MagicBook laptops.
So far, there is no information on how the company intends to position this upcoming laptop lineup. The MagicBook X appears to be a competitor to the company’s MagicBook Pro lineup.
The image confirms that the upcoming Honor laptop will have two USB-A ports — one on each side. There’s also a micro HDMI port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a USB-C port for charging.
Keeping with the trend, the laptop has very thin bezels, which means the front-facing camera sensor will be located between the F6 and F7 keys on the keyboard, as with other MagicBook models.
There is currently no information available regarding the interns of these MagicBook X series devices. However, it will only be a few hours before we learn more about its features, specifications, pricing, and availability in China.
