Nokia is set to launch a new budget smartphone Nokia 2.4 in India today. Around10 days back HMD Global announced that it is planning to launch new smartphones in a teaser. But it seems the company is bringing only one device to India for now, which is going to Nokia 2.4. Back in September in the European market the Nokia 2.4 was launched alongside the Nokia 3.4 to take forward the Nokia 2.X and Nokia 3.X series forward. If it is a part of the company’s plans for India the Nokia 3.4, might arrive later.
Nokia 2.4 specifications
Nokia 2.4 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with a waterdrop notch with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and 3GB of ram and 64GB storage which can be further expanded using a micro SD card up to 512GB of storage, there are usual connectivity options that include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. The phone also comes with FM radio support as well. Out of the box it runs on Android 10 and can be further upgraded to Android 11. The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup that houses a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the front. It has a 4,500 mAh battery. It also consists a 3.5mm audio jack, with a weight of 186g. And will also bring a stock-like Android experience along with regular updates and firmware updates for the coming 2 years.

Nokia 2.4 in India is priced at Rs. 10,399 for the sole 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The phone comes in 3 color variants namely Charcoal, Dusk, and Fjord and it is available for pre-order exclusively through the Nokia India website. However, it will not hit offline stores as well as go live on Amazon and Flipkart before the 4th of December.
