Nokia that is owned by HMD Global, failed its operations after 2013 to sense the ongoing trends at that time and ignored the changing demand and needs of the customers. This made its position shaky in the Indian Smartphone market. However, after many research and development activities, Nokia made a comeback in India in 2017 with some featured smartphones and regained its place again by taking advantage of the nostalgia Nokia held for its Indian consumers.
