Oppo has recently launched the all-new 5G enable phone under the K series in China called the Oppo K7x. After the teaser last month, the phone was officially launched on the 4th of November 2020 with all the magnificent features you would expect from a worthy mid-ranger.
Here is everything that you need to know about Oppo K7x
Design-wise, K7x comes with a gigantic 6.5 inch IPS LCD type full HD (1080 x 2400-pixel resolution) display at a pixel density of 405 pixels per inch, to give you the sharp and clear media you long for. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and a large 90.5 screen to body ratio. The screen on the top is protected by corning Gorilla glass 3 with a punch-hole design on the top left corner. It comes in two stunning colors, black mirror, and blue shadow.
Under the hood, K7x is advanced by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset. As per the storage, the smartphone packs with a massive 6GB RAM so that you can multitask in different applications at the same time without lagging. It also has a 128 GB inbuilt storage capacity which allows you to store more media files and applications. On the software front, the handset runs on Android 10 with color OS 7.2 on top.
One of the highlights is, the device comes equipped with a 5000mAh Non-removable battery that also supports 30W VOOC fast Charging 4.0 and also reverse charging as a plus. With this massive battery, you can leisurely work the whole day.
The high-resolution camera can definitely not go unnoticed, as the rear panel of the phone supports a Quad camera set up for crystal pictures, including a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture; a second 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture; a third 2MP portrait lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a fourth 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and finally a 16MP selfie camera with autofocus. The cameras are also capable of recording 4K videos at 30 frames per second with an anti-shake video recording feature.
Additionally, the smartphone also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and also comes with a hyper boost 3.0 technology for a thrilling gaming experience. It is also advanced with a biometrics scanner, a compass, an accelerometer that detects motion as well as the orientation, and a Gyroscope which determines orientation and rotation to provide more accurate 3D motion tracking than an accelerometer.
Although it weighs pretty hefty, it can be reasonable considering the screen size of the model. Another drawback could be the Non-expandable memory.
Overall, K7x 5G is an impressive smartphone from Oppo as a mid-ranger with some of the majestic features such as a great balance of responsive performance, undeniably great battery life, dedicated camera setup, and of course the head-turning processor. In India, the price is expected to be around Rs. 16,790 according to some reliable sources which are pretty worthy after looking at the specifications.
