Oppo Reno 5 series smartphones are now listed for pre-orders.
The pre-orders are available on the Oppo website and JD.com in China.
The launch of the Reno 5 series is, however, scheduled for December 10.
The company seems to be very excited about the launch as they have already made the phones available for pre-order on the e-commerce website. According to some rumours, two models are expected to release under the Reno 5 Series, the Reno 5 and the Reno 5 Pro. However, the release of Reno 5 +Pro is also heavily rumoured (not available for pre-order).
The look of the two devices along with few specifications are listed on its china website. The detailed specifications are likely to be announced on the launch day, which is December 10. These have been listed on the website JD.com.
The storage model will be available in 8GB RAM with 128 GB and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The design will almost be the same as Reno 4 with glossier design. The price is not yet revealed because that is something the company is planning to make public on the launch day. The colour variants are expected to be blue and black. It will have a punch-hole display for the front cameras. On the back, it will have a quadruple-camera. It will have curved-edge displays on the Reno 5 Pro while the Reno 5 will have flat-screen, much like those on the Reno 4 series.
According to the specifications listed on the website, the Reno 5 and the reno 5 Pro will have 65W with fast charging, however, the battery specifications are not mentioned. But the rumours suggest that there could be 4000mAH batteries on both the phones. Apart from this, we will have to rely on rumours.
According to the sources, the devices will be 5G supported. The Reno 5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor while the Reno 5 Pro will use a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor inside. Both the devices will come with 64MP main camera along with Android 11- based ColorOS 11.
