The Redmi 9T is now officially confirmed by the NBTC certification. But the listing only reveals its model number (M2010J19SC) and, that it will have 4G LTE connectivity. There are no other specifications mentioned. But looking at the model number, it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 9 4G, which was recently launched in India. If it is a rebranded version, we already know most of its specifications. Also, NBTC recently certified Redmi 9T 5G. This suggests that this could also be launched soon.
Specifications (rumored) :
This new variant will have a 6.53-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with a waterdrop notch and with 19:5:9 as its aspect ratio. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage that can be expanded by inserting a microSD card. This is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, and it runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on the top. Talking about the cameras, the Redmi 9 4G will have triple cameras on the backside, with a 48MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor, and with an 8MP of front camera. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Redmi 9T could be available for sale for around Rs 11,200 for the base 4GB+128GB variant and for Rs 16,800 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It comes with a 6,000mAh battery and with 18W rapid charging. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 4.2. It supports a USB Type-C port for charging.
