The Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone series is now expected to be launched globally and in India. The vanilla Galaxy S21 as well as the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra are set to be included in the series. The Galaxy Buds Pro, which are Samsung’s next-generation genuine wireless earphones, and the Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth tracker are also expected at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event today. In India, Samsung Galaxy S21 pre-bookings opened via Samsung India’s e-store on January 8. The smartphones are powered by the new flagship chipset from Samsung, the Exynos 2100, which features an integrated 5G modem and 40 percent faster graphics compared to the previous Exynos 900 generation. With a special rear camera module that bleeds into the corners, all three smartphones are expected to feature a similar design. It is also expected that the S21 Ultra will support the S Pen.

Later today, the Galaxy S21 series will be introduced at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event. The virtual event will begin at 2:30 PM GMT and will be broadcast live on the website of Samsung India as well as on the official YouTube channel of Samsung India.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series specifications (expected)
Based on the region, the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC or Samsung’s own Exynos 2100 chipset. This is configured to be combined with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal memory. Rumors also point to the addition of a microSD card slot, which will allow users to expand their storage. The Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra are also said to be powered by a battery of 4000 mAh, 4800 mAh, and 5000 mAh, respectively.
The flagships, with Samsung’s OneUI 3.0 custom skin, are expected to boot Android 11. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C charging port may be part of the networking features. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to have a quad-camera configuration at the rear on the imaging front, consisting of a 108MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a few 10MP lenses. On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus are expected to have a 12MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with triple sensors on the rear.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series price in India (expected)
Recent reports suggest that the starting price for the vanilla Galaxy S21 model is around Rs.76,000. It is estimated that the Galaxy S21 Plus will launch at around Rs.93,000 and it is rumored that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will bear an initial price of around Rs.1,24,600. At today’s launch session, the official prices will be unveiled.
