The OnePlus Nord SE will not be released, but the OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to be released soon

The OnePlus Nord SE was rumored to be coming out a few months ago as a limited-edition version of the current OnePlus Nord handset. A suspected retail box set for the phone had also appeared online, indicating that the phone would be released soon. Now, OnePlus insider Max Jambor says that the company will not release the OnePlus Nord SE, and the reason for this is unknown. This does not rule out the possibility of potential smartphones bearing the Nord SE moniker, as it is only the intended “Special Edition” of the original Nord that will not see the light of day.

The launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 is still in the works.

OnePlus 9 series

The OnePlus Nord 2, codenamed ‘Denniz,’ is said to be in the works and could be published before August. According to recent news, the OnePlus Nord 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, which is manufactured using a 6nm system. The phone will support 5G dual-SIM dual-standby and will have 5G connectivity.

If the OnePlus Nord 2 does indeed come with a MediaTek processor, it will be the company’s first. The phone should be competitively priced, close to the OnePlus Nord. Quad-cameras, an AMOLED monitor with a high refresh rate, Android 11 OS, and at least 30W fast-charging support are all likely features. That’s pretty much all we know about the OnePlus Nord 2 so far, but we can learn more as time goes on.

A potential OnePlus Nord N10 successor was spotted on the BIS website earlier this month. This indicates that the phone will be available in India shortly. The device’s exact name is unclear, but it is codenamed ‘Ebba.’ The OnePlus Nord N10 successor will have a corner punch-hole camera, triple rear cameras, and a glossy plastic back cover, according to leaked renders.

  • According to reports, the OnePlus Nord SE will not be published.
