Vivo has officially teased the release of the Vivo X60 5G series. The lineup is set to hit the Indian markets on December 29, 2020, and is expected to include Vivo X60 5G and Vivo X60 Pro 5G. In the teaser images, Vivo has proudly flexed the elegant designs of back panels that feature these smartphones.
Besides the design attributes, the official teaser also confirms few key specifications of the lineup such as
- Samsung’s all-new Exynos 1080 chipset
- Zeiss optics
- The ultra-stable micro-head camera sensor
- Night Vision 2.0
Additionally, both the smartphones are expected to own a 120Hz AMOLED display and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The lineup will also probably inherit gimbal stabilization features from its predecessor Vivo X50 Pro.
In the camera department, Vivo X60 Pro 5G will sport a quad rear camera configuration whereas Vivo X60 5G will likely come with a triple rear camera setup. Both the smartphones will come with punch-hole cutouts in the display for selfie snapper.
The two handsets of the Vivo X60 5G series are rumored to be among the slimmest 5G phones from Vivo. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X60 5G measures measly 7.3mm in thinness, making the smartphones of this lineup the world’s slimmest 5G mobile phones.
In terms of software, the duo is expected to run on Android 11 OS. The official trailer reveals Vivo X60 5Gs will be offered in grey, white, and gradient color options. The speculated price of the base model starts at 39,400INR.
