The new-generation Vivo X series is all set to roll out in China near the end of 2020. The teaser released by the company confirms the launch date of the lineup to be 29 December 2020.

The lineup will consist of three handsets namely – Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, X60 Pro+; all sharing similarities to the previous X50 series particularly in terms of design. Likewise Vivo X50 series, Vivo X60 series will feature the punch-hole design display and rectangular camera module on the back.

The specifications of Vivo X60 series haven’t been officially revealed yet. But as per the rumours, the camera configuration and slimness factor of the lineup will set it apart from the competition. Below are some specifications you can expect in the upcoming series.

Vivo X60 Series Expected Specifications

The base model of the lineup and the Vivo X60 Pro model will likely sport a triple rear camera configuration, including a 48 MP primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture, a 13 MP wide lens, and a 13MP portrait shooter.

On the processor front, Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro are expected to be packed with Samsung’s Exynos 1080 SoC while Vivo X60 Pro+ might flex Qualcomm’s brand-new Snapdragon 888 SoC. With this, Vivo X60 Pro+ could also become the world’s first smartphone to feature S888 SoC. And it doesn’t stop here!

Vivo X60 Pro+ is also expected to come with a 120 Hz Samsung AMOLED display, 33W fast charging, and Vivo’s new Origin OS. Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro might also share 120 Hz refresh rate features in common.

The lineup is expected to debut in grey, white, and gradient color options.
