Vivo Y73 With 64MP Camera, MediaTek Helio G95 SoC Launched in India

The Vivo Y73 has been launched in India as the Chinese company's new mid-range offering with a focus on design and camera performance.

Vivo, the Chinese smartphone brand, unveiled a new smartphone, the Vivo Y73, for Indian users on Thursday, adding to an ever-expanding line of low-cost mid-range phones. It is available in a single RAM configuration for less than Rs 25,000 and is targeted at young buyers looking for a stylish phone. For the highlights, the phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC.

Vivo Y73 Specifications

The Vivo Y73 borrows heavily from the X60 series, which debuted earlier this year. It all starts with the design, which includes a rectangular camera hump as well as the overall design theme.

Vivo Y73 has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, delivering a unified experience for both videos and pictures, along with a selfie camera notch at the top. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and has 8GB RAM as well as 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB. It is powered by the most recent FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

As far as the camera is concerned, the rear cameras include a 64PM main camera sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The phone has a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone also packs a 4000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities.

Vivo Y73 Price and Availability

In India, the Vivo Y73 is currently available in only one storage variant. It costs Rs 20,999 and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone is available in two colour options: Diamond Flare and Roman Black, each with a different gradient style. It will be sold via the Vivo India online store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, Tata Cliq, Bajaj EMI Store, and offline partner retail stores. The phone is currently available for purchase only on Flipkart and the Vivo India store.
