Mi 11 teasers have started appearing on the Web to set the stage for Xiaomi’s new flagship phone. One of the early teasers suggests that a “computational photography” technology may come with the new Mi-series smartphone provide a distinct camera experience. To deliver better low-light photography and videography, the Mi 11 is also praised. Besides, the LPDDR5 RAM presence on the Mi 11 has been confirmed by Xiaomi. The recent announcements come just days before the launch of Mi 11 on the Chinese market. As per a couple of teasers posted on Weibo, the Xiaomi Mi 11 will feature computational photography alongside all-new camera hardware that is likely to use software algorithms. To highlight enhanced low-light videography on the new Mi flagship, Xiaomi has released a video preview. You should also expect enhanced optics to offer better performance results over the latest Mi 10 models.
Mi 11 series confirms LPDDR5 RAM
Another Xiaomi tease on the website also shows that the Mi 11 includes LPDDR5 RAM, enabling up to 6.4 Gbps processing speeds. On the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones, LPDDR5 RAM was used as well. The fast RAM, however, is likely to gain more from the newer and faster Snapdragon 888 chipset that will appear in the Mi 11 series.
A while ago, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun also shared the Mi 11 Geekbench scores on Weibo. A single-core score of 1,135 and a multi-core score of 3,818 can be seen bagging the handset. Although benchmark scores do not actually need to be a measure of success in the real world, it is pretty safe to expect some fast speeds from the latest phone hardware. More information regarding Mi 11 is expected to surface shortly before the launch on 28 December.
