Xiaomi POCO M3 Launch – Key Specifications and Price

Xiaomi’s new M-series smartphone POCO M3 has launched today on 24 November 2020. However, some key specifications of the product leaked way ahead of the launch were keeping up the excitement level of Xiaomi-lovers all along the way. But here is the exciting news, this mobile phone is certainly #MoreThanYouExpect.

The smartphone features a 6.53 inches IPS LCD screen, well-protected with durable Corning Gorilla Glass covering, and offering 1080×2340 pixels resolution. The FHD+ display of the phone features a 90.34% screen to body ratio. This dual 4G phone runs on an octa-core processor backed by an Android 10 Operating System and powered by the latest Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 chipset.

The triple rear camera configuration of POCO M3 has a 48-megapixel resolution and is featured with LED Flash, High Dynamic Range, and a wide-shot panoramic camera mode. It is cased neatly in a rectangular module bulging out of the back cover and imprinted with the company logo. The single 8-megapixel selfie camera, on the other hand, will likely come with 1080p video resolution at 30 fps.

This latest POCO phone supports connectivity to Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, infrared port, wireless FM radio, USB Type-c 2.0 and, USB On-The-Go. Quite surprisingly, the smartphone is pretty lightweight (198 g) despite being packed with a fast-charging 6000mAh Lithium Polymer battery.

The 64 GB variant’s speculated starting price is Rs. 13000, whereas the variant with 128 GB internal storage may likely cost around Rs. 14,800 to Rs. 15,700. However, a special discount is offered on the occasion of Black Friday. The former variant can be grabbed at just $129 and the latter one at $149 in this profitable deal.

The dual audio featuring smartphone will be available in three pleasing colors-power black, cool blue and, POCO yellow. The official POCO Twitter page has revealed that the launch event would be live on Wednesday at 8 pm GST+8 on Twitter, YouTube and, Facebook. This would be the last POCO event of the year.
