The first-quarter financial report for the 2021 fiscal year ending March 31st was published today by Alphabet (Google parent). Google said that YouTube had more than 2 billion logged-in users per month at the following conference call. Except search advertising, Google Play and YouTube fuel the increase in other sales.
The financial report showed that the first quarter of YouTube’s advertisement sector revenues is US$6.05 billion compared with the same duration of the previous year at US$4.038 trillion.
The Pew Research Center reported previously that YouTube was the use of social media for American users with the most important development during the recent crown pandemic. The U.S. adult video service use rate for Google rose from 73% in 2019 to 81% in 2021. Reddit followed up, from 11% in 2019 to 18% in 2021. Its use grew.
The study says that Alphabet’s overall income for the first quarter amounted to USD 55,314 billion, up from USD 41,159 billion for the same time last year by 34 percent. Except for the effect of exchange rate fluctuations, it amounted to a 32% growth year-on-year; according to the US GAAP, net earnings for the first trimester for Alphabet were 17,930 billion USD, up 162% from the previous year’s figure of 6,836 billion US Dollars.
