Elon Musk: Nuralink To Start Human Trails Start The End of 2021

Nuralink is all set to test its brain chip implants as soon as late 2021. Elon Musk stated that his neurotechnology is currently “Trying Their Best” to exploit the possibility and a new era of technology in the field. The tech Billionaire replied to a Twitter query, someone wanted to be part of his Nuralink clinical study and shared the development and progress they have made so far. They are prioritizing implant safety to prevent any effect that it might have on the human mind. He also claimed that they might be able to start trials on humans later this year.

In mid-2020, the company experimented on pig’s brain activity implanted with Neuralink and live-streamed it. There were three test subjects, Gertrude one of the test subjects, who began to nudge and are the food in front of him as his brain activity recorded. in the end, the data that they collected through neural action when he snout as he searched for the food-was transmitted to the receiver. At the end of the stream, Elon Musk said that “It could be under your hair and you wouldn’t even know.”

They have applied for human trials in late 2019 but it seems like a lengthy process that will take some more time. They are producing these implants for people that have the neural condition to allow them to control devices like computers or phones with just their brainwaves. Also, helping to fight against dementia, Alzheimer’s, and many more. Pn a talk show Good Time Show he stated that “They’ve already done with the trails on a monkey so that she can play video games with her mind.”The primary difference between these trials was monkey’s chipset was wireless while the pig was wired.

We’re nowhere near the innovations like human cyborgs, but if this project would succeed then it would be a beginning of a new era.
