Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing service for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed data centers. Krafton Inc. which is the holding company of PUBG based in South Korea announced that it will be hosting its gaming services on the Azure platform for some data security reasons and in compliance with all the laws and regulations.
This deal will clear some way for PUBG mobile to enter back into the Indian gaming zone as it was banned by the Indian Government last month. As the gaming industry is booming per day, Krafton Inc. may launch its gaming services which includes PUBG mobile in India somewhere near this Diwali that is 13th of November as per the reports.
Krafton said in its announcement that it “will be working with Microsoft to introduce a verification process to ensure that storage of personally identifiable information of its players follows all appropriate requirements in the territories mainly India where Krafton and its subsidiaries got banned for operating their gaming services.”
