PUBG to launch a new version for Indian Users

PUBG mobile India to return in a new avatar, release date to be revealed soon.

PUBG Corporation on Thursday(12th November) announced that it will be launching a tailored version of the PUBG mobile for its Indian users. This comes after the news that Indian Government banned PUBG mobile in India in September due to some data and privacy issues and majorly due to Giant Tencent had the publishing rights which is a Chinese country.

Additionally, PUBG corporations will make investments worth $100 million in India in the eSports and IT industries as it held millions of active users in the Country.

PUBG stated in an announcement, “Protecting user data has always been a top priority and we have always complied with applicable data protection laws and regulations in India. All users’ gameplay information is processed in a transparent manner as disclosed in our privacy policy.” This means the company’s one of the major focus will be on the user’s privacy to comply with the Indian rules and regulations.
