As per the reports, the outage affected Gmail today early in the morning. Hundreds of issues have been expressed by the users to the DownDetector, the outage monitor.

This issue is yet not acknowledged by Google officially. Interestingly, the service page reports that none of the users are experiencing this issue. However, the users have stared #YoutubeDOWN on Twitter as they cant access the basic services. However, incognito seems to work for some users.

UPDATE :

Google just confirmed on its service status page that all the Google services are suffering from an outage. It says :

“We’re aware of a problem with Gmail affecting a majority of users. The affected users are unable to access Gmail. We will provide an update by 12/14/20, 5:42 PM detailing when we expect to resolve the problem. Please note that this resolution time is an estimate and may change.”

Almost all its services have reported the same message just a few minutes back as they got to know about the issue. Let us know in the comments below if you are also facing the same issue.
